What use is the hole in a Polo ?

Thanks to the event with Simon Ross on Tuesday (see previous post), I discovered a great use for the hole in the middle of a Polo mint.
It makes a perfect, uniformly sized circle.
Students can use a sharp pencil to create accurate circles every time of the same size - perfect for plotting earthquake epicentres or other point data.

And when the circle drawing is complete, you can eat the Polo....
