GA Conference 2013 - 11 of lots: Two Hundred Heads are better than one...

After the App workshop,  it was a quick pack-up of all my stuff and on up to the North tower of the University where we had a 2nd workshop.

Even half an hour before the workshop, people were coming in to make sure they had a seat, and there was a good buzz about the room as we set up. There were lots of twitter colleagues there, and plenty of them meeting for the first time in person, which is always good.

Tony Cassidy was someone that Bob Digby particularly wanted to come, and even during last year's conference I had a chat with Bob about how I'd try to make sure that Tony came along... and here he was :) Bob had promised to come along, and he was sitting on the front table. Good news for all who'd been drawn by the promise of hearing from Tony.

John Sayers has a growing reputation as a powerhouse of SOLO and similar thinking / questioning approaches, and had taken the time to travel all the way from Newcastle. I'm grateful that he was able to come along.
The room filled up, and we were underway with our workshop on collaboration, and standing on the shoulders of giants...
Tony and I's slides are included here...

Check out John's blog for some blog posts related to the ideas that he presented.

The DROPBOX has all the 'MANY' resources that John used - help yourself, and let us know whether (and how) you use them.

John Sayers talked about Ron Berger's work on critique.

The workshop was really well received, which was great after the effort that had gone into it...

See the feedback on the blogs for more details...

Here's a POUNDLAND PEDAGOGY idea sheet... how would you use these ?
