This is a world premiere (online) of a new cartogram that has been created by Ben Hennig. It's based on the origin of the Practical Pedagogies 2016 delegates and workshop leaders. As with all the cartograms, it's based on a software routine which Ben runs through his laptop to generate a variation of a world map, where the area of a country is proportional to a particular variable - in this case, how many delegates and workshop leaders had travelled from this particular country.
