Hot hot hot

We experienced a very hot day down in the SE yesterday and overnight the temperature didn't drop below about 23 degrees.
The maximum temperature yesterday was apparently 35.3 - it felt hotter than the previous Friday because the winds were lighter in our part of the county. Thankfully there is a good breeze blowing today.

This is nothing though compared to the heat that is being experienced in Iraq.
Temperatures in Baghdad have reached well over 50 degrees Celsius.
These are life threatening temperatures.
The comfort index shows the temperatures at which we are comfortable. Once we get to temperatures into the 40s, our bodies start to struggle in several ways.
