Curriculum Making

When did you first hear the term 'curriculum making'?

This term, and the idea that it represents, was part of the outcomes from work done by Diane Swift and David Lambert and other members of the Action Plan for Geography team in 2006-11. The term has now got to the point where it doesn't need the quote marks, as it is accepted practice, and an important part of a teacher's professional identity or professional compass.

There were some articles in 2007 that shared the thinking just prior to the time when I joined the GA.

I am currently finalising a session for a group of schools in London next week exploring curriculum making.

The latest support for anyone thinking about curriculum is this excellent David Gardner book, available from the GA Shop in 2 formats.
