Glocalisation in a bite...

A great image by Richard Allaway that sums up something that is part of the newer 'A' level specifications: GLOCALISATION. This is the way that a global company adapts its brand / products for local cultural norms.
It has been defined by George Ritzer as:
“the interpenetration of the global and the local, resulting in unique outcomes in different geographic areas” 
McDonalds has a range of similar products in other countries.
This is McDonalds' take on a classic French croque-monsieur
