I spent a few days before Christmas writing materials for a company called Alphabet - you may have heard of them.... One of the places that I wrote about was the Grand Canyon.

There is a really rather marvellous National Geographic piece on the canyon and some of the many threats to its current status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
