Fashion Revolution

Fashion Revolution is an organisation whose work I have used for many years, in fact since they first started, on the day of the collapse of the Rana Plaza factory in Bangladesh, on April 24th 2013.
They have been exploring and exposing the impacts of fast fashion trends, and trying to encourage consumers to become more aware of the stories behind their clothes, and ask the question of who actually made them?

This is of course a very geographical question, and opens up discussions around trade justice, exploitation of workers, supply chains and our own connections.

The Summer term is when I usually get onto fast fashion.
There have been a lot of lessons leading up to this, exploring various issues relating to clothing and fashion.
