Climate Change Narratives

Thanks to Brendan Conway for the link to another useful resource.

It's a resource written by Renata Tyszczuk and Joe Smith which collects pieces from a number of contributors on the theme of Climate Change.

It's called 'Culture and Climate Change: Narratives'. There are several chapters giving thoughts and perspectives on Climate Change.

Renata's section also mentions Hilaire Belloc, one of the GA presidents I've been writing about on my GA Presidents Blog.

There are some powerful pieces, such as Mike Shanahan's on the 'denaturing' of the planet as the heat rises.

The final section of the resource features a very useful timeline of events linked to Climate Change, going back hundreds of years. I can see this being quite a useful section to extract key moments and sequence them with students perhaps, or match with the date they think those events may have happened.
