It was National Fish and Chip Day yesterday - did you have yours? I had mine at school at lunchtime, and also on Thursday night as it happens.
Ironically perhaps the best thing you can do is NOT have them.

The Huffington Post has a very useful piece with numerous links to follow on the choices we make when we have fish and chips (and many other meals of course).
They also reported on a fish and chip shop which has served up battered plastic to reinforce the message about ocean plastics. And Greta Thunberg has posted a story from USA Today about research showing more plastics are below the surface than on the surface - an issue that we explored with students using the National Geographic cover with the iceberg / plastic bag image.
