South Georgia to get more ice?

I've blogged about South Georgia quite a bit over the last couple of years, as I've been working with the South Georgia Heritage Trust to create some resources, which are now available to download.

The BBC News has reported that a large iceberg, which had previously broken off the Antarctic Peninsula, and known as A68a is heading towards the island. If it does get that close, it might cause some problems for the wildlife there, but it is by no means guaranteed that it will get that far.
