Danny on the Census

An interesting piece in the Observer today from Danny Dorling on the need to have an interim Census in 2026 because of the impact that the lockdown has had on people's responses in 2021.
It has temporarily skewed where people live and their employment, as well as their self-evaluated views on their health. Commuting patterns have changed and as a result, data showing inequalities which could trigger support for particular communities may be compromised. A quick read and an important one.
