The latest in a series of posts showcasing sessions which are included in the programme for the GA Conference in April 2022.
Paula Zuccotti was another name that I pencilled down on my initial list when I was thinking "who would I want to be presenting at the GA Conference". I've been a huge fan of her book 'Everything we Touch' for some time and have been sharing it at events I've led all over the UK and Europe for many years.
It's also part of my Year 8 scheme, with a unit on the Geography of Stuff.
There is now an archive of the original image sets, carefully knolled.
These have also been used as a resource for students to do some research about the person and see what their stuff says about them...
Paula's book, Everything we Touch, provides a compelling look into the everyday lives of people through the objects they touch. In this session Paula will outline the origins of the project and explore how our possessions are constructing a future archaeology of the Anthropocene.
Paula Zuccotti, Industrial designer, Ethnographer and Author
We are working out the nature of this session - it will be remote as Paula is based in the US.
