There is a strong fieldwork element to the conference this year.
The National Fieldwork Week will be introduced here, along with some of the activities we are preparing. I am hoping to involve my colleague, friend and mentor Claire Kyndt here too. We will also have a section of the GA's website up and running by then, with plenty of ideas. Check out the articles in GA journals on this initiative as well, thanks to the hard work of Paula Richardson.
Fieldwork should also be inclusive. Check out Catherine Owen's piece for more on that.
Description of the session:
Organising fieldwork over recent times has been a challenge for everyone. This session aims to provide not only ideas but also help with creating activities that will enable all those who want to go out with their pupils to feel supported and well-equipped. It will also give support and information about participation in the GA National Fieldwork week in June 2022.
