GAConf22: Place motifs: turning up the colour of local geographies - #53 of many

The latest in a series of posts showcasing sessions which are included in the programme for the GA Conference in April 2022.

A highlight of any GA Conference is a session led by Sharon Witt and Helen Clarke.

They have previously presented on a number of other topics, including pigeons, gnomes and bats - always deeply grounded in scholarship and with a huge serving of fun.

This is a lively, practical workshop about response-ability (Haraway, 2016).

Focusing on curious practices and creative curriculum enquiries to consider place motifs, wellbeing, and deep mapping, participants are invited to engage in creative geography/art adventures that reveal artistic/lyrical possibilities for geographical noticing with the more-than-human world within everyday environments.
