Re-visiting assessment.
In light of the renewed focus on curriculum, where does assessment fit? This session will explore the first principles of assessment, looking at what (or who) it’s really for, before unpicking strategies for weaving it through the taught curriculum.
We will be re-visiting AFL in the classroom, whole-class feedback strategies as a part of everyday assessment, and exploring assessment as part of long-term planning.
