GAConf22: Research Paper: Professional Development and Primary Teachers' Decision Making - #65 of many

The latest in a series of posts showcasing sessions which are included in the programme for the GA Conference in April 2022.

Lisa Clarke will share her research on professional development and it's impact on primary teachers' decision making.

Findings relating to research conducted for a Masters’ degree on the impact of a short course of professional development on teachers’ decision making in primary geography. Such research explored factors affecting how Irish teachers approach the subject and found that a short course of teacherled, community of practice style CPD positively impacted attitudes and practices around the subject.
