GAConf22: Teacher to Teacher - Taking up space - #66 of many

The latest in a series of posts showcasing sessions which are included in the programme for the GA Conference in April 2022.

This session sounds of interest to those who are working in inner-city settings in particular.

It is a Teacher to Teacher session, promising some useful strategies for young people to feel confident, particularly when visiting rural landscapes.

Teaching in an inner-city setting, we are familiar with the challenges facing our students when visiting or completing fieldwork in the great outdoors. Lack of confidence and uncertainty in adolescence can lead to disempowerment in adulthood. This session will share strategies to support all young people to feel confident and successful visiting and conducting fieldwork in rural landscapes.
