Teaching about UK drought: an invisible threat to your locality
This session will draw on over five years’ research from river catchments around the UK and the development of the children’s book DRY, the diary of a water superhero (given the GA’s Silver Publishers’ Award 2020).
Through practical activities this session will consider how to teach the growing concerns of climate change with regard to drought based on this free, research-informed resource.

The book has been blogged about on LivingGeography previously, when it won the GA Award. The book can be read on ISSUU, and was produced by UWE Bristol.
