GAConf22: Teaching tectonics without the misconceptions - #49 of many

The latest in a series of posts showcasing sessions which are included in the programme for the GA Conference in April 2022.

Tectonics is exciting – but can be tough to teach. As a complex and evolving theory, it’s no surprise that, in an attempt to simplify the complexities for our classes, misconceptions have slipped in. We will share a classroom teaching model that helps us be up to date with the theory and simplify it for our students without distorting it.

I am very much looking forward to this session, as this has been an area which these two colleagues have been presenting on in a number of places, and also supporting and sharing their work widely on social media.
