There has been quite a lot of recent activity in the area of Decolonising the Curriculum, and this has included a wealth of curriculumn making and reconsidering of approaches to particular topics, or the use of problematic terminology, as well as the search for advice and training.
Some teachers have also taken the chance to work collaboratively and revisit existing work. One resource that is used by many teachers is Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's TED talk 'The danger of a single story' from 2009.
Well here it is...the final piece. A booklet for the 'Danger of a single story' unit on Africa for KS3. Fancy teaching Africa through a decolonised lens? Feel free to download the booklet or individual resources here https://t.co/91j04bFkcF pic.twitter.com/ubnrT3HsIp

Well done to Briley Habib and Alesha de Fonseka for collaborating on, and sharing these documents for all to use.
The resource can be downloaded from the link above, or a link copied to your own Google Drive for further sharing.
It's worth following the Decolonising Geography group on Twitter to see what they get up to next, and it's also worth saying that members of the group will also be present at the GA Conference in April 2022.
