GAConf22: Contextualising our everyday: from hyperlocal to global geographies - #118 of many

The latest in a series of posts showcasing sessions which are included in the programme for the GA Conference in April 2022.

Students’ connections to the world are most meaningful at the everyday, hyperlocal scale. 

In class we learn of theory-based global systems that shape those same places. This session shares techniques using a hierarchy of observations and connections to contextualise subject knowledge, appropriate for small, frequent field experiences or larger investigations, reflecting the need identified in the recent Ofsted review.
