GAConf22: Geography fieldwork and behavioural management - #119 of many

The latest in a series of posts showcasing sessions which are included in the programme for the GA Conference in April 2022.

Geography fieldwork and behavioural management

Different LOTC behavioural management techniques can be employed to maximise learning and minimise risk when undertaking geography fieldwork. Using a meta-approach, this practical session will enable participants to experience and learn these techniques. The session will be divided into a 30-minute localised field visit just outside the conference venue followed by 20 minutes of reflection using Socratic circles.

Richard has previously presented on his use of Playmobil figures for similar risk related work at a previous GA Conference teachmeet in 2020 (in a session that Kit Rackley described as one of their favourites). This will be a chance for you to meet him face to face.
