UCL Centre for Cllimate Change and Sustainability Survey

A message from this centre, whose mailing list I am on.

We are excited to launch our nationwide survey investigating teachers’ views on climate change and sustainability education. The survey aims to deepen understanding of teachers’ practice related to climate change and sustainability, to find out how confident, prepared and supported they feel to incorporate climate change and sustainability into their teaching, and to investigate their related professional development experiences and needs.

We are inviting responses from teachers working across all Key Stages and all subject areas, including teachers who do not currently engage with climate change and sustainability through their teaching, as well as those who do.

If you are a teacher, we invite you to complete the survey. This takes quite a while to complete properly I should warn you... but your contributions will be really helpful.

By completing the survey, your school will automatically be entered into a draw to win one of two £100 prizes to purchase climate change and sustainability teaching resources.

On 16 November at 4pmwe are supporting an online British Council Education Exchange event entitled Climate education - embedding across the whole curriculum.  This will include a panel of teachers from different parts of the world talking about how they are embedding climate education into their practice in different ways.  Click here to find out more and to register.
