Bucharest

It's always nice to visit a new city for the first time.

A month or two ago, I had the chance to visit Bucharest in Romania, to attend a trans-national partner meeting for the GI Pedagogy project.

This included a chance to explore the city, although the weather on the first night and morning stopped play. It was a chance to see some of the historic locations associated with former President Ceaucescu, including the monumental buildings that were constructed during this period.

The weather was not too kind, and I had limited time to explore the city, which is a shame as it had much of interest. The food we had was excellent.

We had the chance to eat at some good restaurants, including one called MACE, which was very Instagram friendly - check it out.
