Cambridge GA Branch Lecture - March 2023

The Cambridge & District Branch of the Geographical Association have organised a lecture for A-level and GCSE Students 


“How urbanisation and densification change perceptions of place for citizens and the state: a case study from South Africa.” 

The lecture is presented by Professor Lemanski. Charlotte Lemanski is Professor of Urban Geography at the University of Cambridge. 

She has conducted qualitative research in South Africa for more than two decades, exploring everyday urban inequality primarily through the lens of infrastructure (housing, land and services), urban governance and citizenship.
