I was asked to do my presentation in the first session of the Charney Manor Conference 2023.
I talked about my reading and research as part of my current involvement as a Fawcett Fellow.
I was pleased that several other presenters referenced my session during the rest of the event as well, with its reminder of the need for teachers (mentioned by Michael Storm in his Presidential lecture) to have their 'professional zest' refreshed.
My reminder to delegates, and to pass on to other primary (as well as secondary) colleagues is that there is no reason why you might not apply for the next round of Fawcett Fellowships yourself. And that includes you, reading this - you have several more months to
