Climate Change refugees from Tuvalu

An interesting article from BBC News with some confirmation of support for the population of Tuvalu.

The nation is threatened by rising sea levels due to its geography.

Tuvalu’s population of just 11,000 people is spread across nine Pacific islands, that mostly rise to less than five meters above sea level.

I blogged previously about its plan to create a digital clone.

King tides threaten the island, and salt water is bubbling up through the ground rendering land unusable for farming.

Side note: the top level domain for Tuvalu is .tv and it makes quite a lot of money from websites registering domain names ending in TV.
