Green jobs are an area that both the GA and RGS are interested in supporting and feel that those who study geography are perfectly positioned to move into such jobs with the focus of many geography 'A' level specifications and undergraduate courses being linked to sustainability issues and an increasing need to tackle climate change.
Recently @The_GA asked @YouGov to research the public's view on studying geography and the skills and knowledge needed to work in 'green jobs'.
