Where on Earth?

My Orbital SoW is taking shape - just as well really as I'm talking about it at a conference in less than a week's time.

This is a quiz which is located at Schiphol airport. It's been developed by the European Space Agency.

The idea is that travellers scan the QR code on the posters, and are taken to an image of a mystery location from space.

Also check out the esri WorldView extension for Chrome, which gives you a new random location each time you open a browser window.

Google Earth doesn't work particularly well on my work laptop, but works fine on my Macbook, and that is another option for creating similar views as those that might be seen from the ISS' cupola.

CEO = Crew Earth Observations aka looking down at the planet. Most things on the ISS have an acronym.
