The role of subjects and subject associations in climate change and sustainability education in England

Thats the title of a new report published by UCL's Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability and the Council for Subject Associations.

The Role of Subjects and Subject Associations in Climate Change and Sustainability Education in England report highlights the important roles of citizenship, geography and science in teaching about climate change and sustainability and the contributions that can be made by subjects across the curriculum. It notes the current review of the curriculum and calls for the revised curriculum to include reference to how the curriculum supports ‘working towards a more sustainable future’.
