Shadow Curriculum and Assessment Review report

The Curriculum and Assessment Review is underway and everyone is waiting for the next stage to be revealed.

We heard about the Youth Shadow Panel: which provided a youth ‘voice’ input into the CAR.

Youth Shadow Panel Interim Report was published in January. It was chaired by Amira Campbell, the President of NUS UK.

Inspirational learning


Nature, sustainability and climate change



The most common perspectives from respondents included wanting learning and assessments to be more interactive; assessments negatively affecting student mental health; and wanting learning to be more relevant to life. The call for evidence also showed that young people want to learn more about the world, culture, climate, finances and politics.
