Worldly Wednesday #27: Summer term

Another term-time Wednesday means it's time for another Worldly Wednesday.

It's the start of the summer term today, but I won't be there on the first day back as it's a Wednesday.

The Easter break was busy with plenty of interest: trips to Iceland, Paris, Southwold, Oxford and London several times. I also started a new tax year, which meant starting in on my tax return. I did very well last year for projects, and hope that 2025-26 will be as productive. These Wednesdays are important for that work.

It's worth mentioning of course that I have a specialist blog aimed at Iceland.

It was over to Cambridge earlier today to attend a talk by Samantha Harvey who wrote the Booker Prize winning book 'Orbital'.

The book has also been shortlisted for the Climate Fiction prize 2025.
