EMO-GI #2: AI as an extractive industry... and convenience food

Thanks to Richard Allaway for the tipoff to this particular resource in a roundabout way.

Leon Furze is someone who has shared a range of videos exploring the educational applications of AI.

In the Guardian, a recent letter referred to AI as being like "convenience food".

And Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is clear on what she thinks about it.

I also learned from a site called LibGen that my book 'Why Study Geography?' had been stolen to train AIs.

For me it's a monumental waste of water and energy to produce silly outputs like the action figure dolls everyone was sharing a while back and doubtless countless other 'trends' to come...

More to come on this as I delve deeper into the EMO-GI project.
