Too Good to Go is an app which potentially helps to reduce food waste. 

There are several of these apps which have appeared over the last few years.

According to WWF (2021), 40% of the food that we produce globally goes to waste. This means that 2.5 billion tonnes of food is wasted every year. 

This equates to 80,000 kilograms of food being wasted around the world, every single second.

If you sign up for the app you can search for bags of food which are produced towards the end of the day usually. 

They may contain anything from pastries to a roast dinner depending on the place that is offering them.
