Worldly Wednesdays #45: Technology and CPD

Welcome to another Worldly Wednesday.

I started by publishing LivingGeography Substack #45. Subscription numbers continue to rise.

That was followed by a Zoom call where I led a CPD session for PGCE colleagues at St. Mary's University in Twickenham. This was an adaptation of a well-received session I led at UCL earlier this year (and which I shall repeat next year). It includes my thoughts on AI in education amongst other things.

Thanks to the colleagues who attended. If you are a teacher educator, I'm happy to lead this session with your tutees.

It was then over to Norwich, to brave the never ending road works on all entrances to the city.

Next up was checking the agenda for a meeting in Belgium in the New Year and doing some pre-reading and preparation for that.

Finally, it was a Zoom call about an authoring project I shall be starting imminently, for publication in 2026.

Hoping for some clear skies tonight to see some colours from the latest CME.
