Infrastructure tourism

There are many different genres of tourism and they have grown in number. I have blogged about quite a few of them.

Infrastructure tourism is a new one on me.

It relates to people who travel in order to visit infrastructure - of course.

One project I'd like to see in person are the new tsunami defence walls built along the coast of the NE areas of Honshu since the tsunami of 2011.

These remind me of the book 'Ghosts of the Tsunami'.
