Tuvalu is a low-lying Pacific nation. As a result is often included in lists of islands and island nations which are threatened by sea-level rise.
I recently attended a talk from Liam Saddington, who kindly came down to talk to the winners of the RGS's Young Geographer of the Year.
He very importantly changed the narrative about these islands as "sinking" and explored the efforts that are being made to develop them.
