Welcome to the 20th of my Thoughtful Thursdays.
What was I thinking about today?
I started the day with planning for a forthcoming trip to Iceland with a school, working for Rayburn Tours.
Rayburn were recently named Best School Tour Operator (Large) at the School Travel Awards, which highlights the expertise and care that goes into every trip they organise. I work with a large team of Field Study Tutors with a huge range of experience.
Our WhatsApp group is also buzzing with advice and updates when we are out there.
I finished uploading reports which were due and started in on another set for later in the term.
Also some work on presentations for later in the year, including finalising one for the GeoLincs network.
Details are here.
The second Geolincs session of this academic year is approaching, and we have Richard Bustin and Alan Parkinson coming along to share lots of important ideas.
Richard is talking about GeoCapabilities and I'll be talking about Everyday Geographies in the Curriculum and the review.
Wednesday 18th March, from 1400-1700 (light refreshments included) at Spalding Grammar School.
Contact Aidan Hesslewood via LinkedIn or let me know if you want to come along and I'll pass your details to Aidan.
