What was I thinking about today?
It was back to a Thoughtful Thursday after a month's break for the Easter holidays.
I was giving some thought to the summer break which is just over 10 weeks away...
I always try to have some sort of project for the summer. I remembered hearing Russel Tarr speaking some years ago at a Practical Pedagogies event he had organised. He was sharing what he did to monetise his practice. He is a coding genius and has a long-standing website called Classtools and a more specific history site called Active History.
Also check out his History Teaching Toolkit books which contain some excellent pedagogical strategies.
I have just finished the big Collins Discover Geography project, and the previous year it had been the Collins iGCSE Geography series of which I was series editor.
Fortunately, earlier today I had an exciting Zoom call about a new Education project for me to get involved with.
I'll share more once it's more 'out in the open'.
