UK Fisheries is a company that operates trawlers which catch a good proportion of the fish landed in the UK.

They are based in Hull, where I trained as a teacher a long time ago, and they have a large super trawler called the Kirk Ella - named after a village on the edge of Hull.

Track where the ship is on Marine Traffic. It will often be found up to the NE of Iceland.

They provide some useful statistics on the industry on their website.

Statista has some other useful stats, although an account is needed for the most interesting ones, as you'd expect.
