I'm a seasteading ambassador and I just wanted to mention that there are a few corrections to the Daily Mail article, about which The Seasteading Institute wrote about here. The most important one perhaps is that The Institute is a non-profit, and won't build floating cities directly; rather, it conducts research and community building, helping commercial seasteading venture such as Blueseed develop the first seasteads.
It'll be interesting to see the first examples. As a geographer anything new like this is of interest.
