GI Learner Project Meeting - Day 2

A sunny start for day 2, and hotel breakfast watching the city wake up, with trams heading past.
Walked to the school where we were having our meetings: named after Dimitrie Cantemir.
He seems to have been an important person, and achieved plenty in his life.
We walked past some Ceausescu era blocks and over canals. There was plenty of redevelopment of roads, but a general feeling that things were being developed as the impact of the new CBD that I saw yesterday begins to be felt.

We worked on some new revised documents which will go up on the website, and had some very productive discussions. We were very well looked after by our hosts.

A pizza lunch in a sunny restaurant, with some local lemonade, and then another 3 hours of meetings before we had to finish for the day, and headed back to the hotel for a swim and a wander, before it was out to a local restaurant for ale and good food and discussions. A very good first day of meetings, and another reminder of the value of the Erasmus+ programme for allowing teachers from across Europe to meet and share ideas.

A reminder to check out what we are creating over on the GI Learner website, or search this blog using the box in the top left.
