The OU has a range of free courses which would be suitable for those 'A' level students who are waiting to hear their results and planning on heading to university to study geography. They would also be useful for upskilling teachers as well who may have heard that they are going to be teaching 'A' level perhaps on a new specification, or perhaps as NQTs.
A list of suggested courses has been added to the 'Geography from Home' section of the GA website.
I worked for the Open University for 18 months to curate a teacher portal called VITAL. It has occurred to me several times that it's a pity this work wasn't continued after the end of the project, as I produced hundreds of resources and links which would have been useful to direct people towards.
