I recently completed some writing about Bill Anders and the famous Earthrise photo that he took from space.
Along with that was the poem published on the same day in the New York Times

This somehow led me on to an article on the album 'Race for Space' by Public Service Broadcasting, one of my favourite bands, which features a song called 'The Other Side'. This pointed out the attention to detail in the sonic palette of the album, which starts with Soviet activity and moves towards the NASA mission.

There is a different drum sound to the previous Soviet based songs as the band used different drum kits and set ups for the different superpowers
