Hangers - the "plastic straws" of the fashion industry

In late 2019, fashion designer Roland Mouret announced his new sustainable hanger design. This aims to reduce the millions of plastic hangers which are discarded every year.

The analogy with plastic straws is a good one, and those are now banned from sale in many countries.
