An interesting piece in the Financial Times from Tim Harford. It suggests that our memories are very much tied to location, and that we are unlikely to remember events during the pandemic / lockdown as much as others because our brains are wired to have a locational element to memory - you will be familiar perhaps with the "memory palace" technique used by those who can memorise large quantities of information.
