Sense of Place

The Easternmost House in Juliet Blaxland's book is no more.
It used to stand on the cliffs, north of Southwold, and Juliet bought it knowing that she wouldn't have very long to live in it, although she hoped it would last longer than it actually did.
This stretch of coastline has been subject to rapid erosion for years.

Here's a nice piece on the Elsewhere website which describes the last days of the house by the sea.
