The RGS-IBG has a number of events running for teachers which are online of course, for the time being. It will be good to be able to attend in person once again.
One of these upcoming events is a Teachchat on Careers Education in Geography in Feb 2021
I have been asked to offer an input to the evening event, which will be based around my book 'Why Study Geography?'. I'll talk about how I link suggestions on where geography can take you into my teaching and encourage students to realise that there are plenty of careers that are connected to Geography, beyond being a geography teacher... good as that is.
