Throughout the decades UNICEF has supported children in crisis, often following disasters or conflict. They operate in many areas of the world where the poorest children live.
And now, they are going to apparently do what the Government can't afford to do.... although they can afford to waste billions on PPE and Track and Trace, and give millions of pounds in tender-free contracts to companies which have no track record in delivering the services they are paid to do.
By October 2020, an extra 900,000 children had been registered for free school meals.
UNICEF has given money to a charity called School Food Matters.
